I finally got offshore today. I fished the 9 hour trip on the Canaveral Princess. My goal was to try and grouper fish today. I had no problem catching live bait but didn't get any grouper. I was lucky enough to catch a lost Cobia. I will be eating good for a while. My grouper setup is a Diawa 600h on a United Composites invictus rod. The upgraded Diawa has Brian's drag stack with a after market handle grip. The cobia never had a chance. Joe

:)  That is a nice Cobia and probably fought better than a grouper ..

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.   Alto Mare

nice catch.

a sealine 600H with upgraded drags and handle is a tank, I just installed 5+1 on a 400H and feels stronger and have more drag than a regular penn 113h.
