Thanks Sandbar, you went to a lot of trouble with this post, much appreciated, I see  a Mitchell 499 Pro, for sale a couple of days ago, they are supposed to be the strongest, with a thicker shaft, but he also, mention about 5 different models of the pro reels,  that I did not realize there were that many.  maybe some one here could comment, cheers Don.
