Here,s an easy primer of how to tie the perfection loop knot.   I think you may find it useful for your tacklebox. :fish

OK, so what's your fascination w/ this misnamed, Mediocrity Loop???

it's NOT small; NOT especially strong (Surgeon's is about same bulk, stronger & easier to tie, IMO);

and it's NOT lure-specific -- not designed to stay open better and/or point tag end "down"

can't think of any situation, where I'd choose this knot for any fishing line... esp., not PE braid

Sooo what is a good loop knot?  I have tried this one but not easy to tie on a jig or fly.  I end up using a uni-knot and leaving it loose.

Thanks Dave,  after re reading your earlier loop post I do agree with you if you stated that the knot testing results for the loops are not consistent.   In my testing they are all over the place.   So I've simply tied more of each type (10 minimum) and then taken the average.     This always leaves me with some doubts as what the heck?
  Lucky for everyone there are plenty of knots 🪢 for everyone to use for many applications.
  My last testing showed that the perfection loop was 77% as strong as the earlier 3 turn easy loop that I posted.    The perfect loop testing showed the largest spread of strength before failing.    Butt that's just me,   Maybe I,m all wet. :fish

i use a perfection loop all the time.  it looks nice and i know it will break at the loop first. i use it when i actually want it to break there first!!!!
