Here's a good jig for my fishery.   Butt it's getting bent some and some of the paint is flaking off,  what is a person to do?
  1. Repaint it to its natural luster
  2. Continue using it, and be more careful
  3. Put it on the shelf with all the other ones
  4. Move to a sandy bottom and fairly shallow
  5. Do nothing, and wait for good advice.

Ok,  no advice,  just make a mold, before you foolishly lose it,   and keep doing what works.
