How to Determine Line Ratings/rod strength?

This is a good plan.

The tip on the one is bent a little, like the last 3/4" is visibly not straight. The blanks are all slightly different lengths, they're all between 6'10" and 7' long.

I picked out two blanks that look to be identical, and fitted the cork grips to those two this afternoon. I'll get the handles glued up and see how that changes the feel and go from there.

Got the grips glued on the first two blanks tonight.

These are the ones I plan to take fishing in the gulf in a little over 60 days.
