will the handle from a 450SSG, fit a 450SS/550SS?
i know it's a different part #, but is the thread on the pivot
the same thread?

Same thread. Different length. A 450 handle actually screws into a 750 but the pivot rubs on the frame.
Any machine is a smoke machine if you use it wrong enough.
