Sorry guys I am on a roll
the Isuzu came up a treat
I just finished cleaning up a Flexon Special
its made in Japan and has a stamped (sugita) on the inside cover
In this bundle there was a big beach reel and inside the side plate is the same sugita stamp
was this place renowned for reels in Japan or just a city that manufactured them
just curious
thanks
Greg

Sugita was a Japanese manufacturer.
They manufactured reels for Garcia, OLM, Berkley, and various other Japanese exporters throughout the 1970s
Love those open face spinning reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco Cardinals)
