You talking about a 50?  You don't need a custom washer unless you want to keep your metal drive plate.

Yes, I do want to keep that metal plate.
I used to be in a constant state of improvement.  Now I'm in a constant state of renovation.

Is it just a drop in, and what's the cost?

That`s not really what it`s all about though. At least you don`t need to install upgraded gear sleeves, metal side plates, stainless gears,double dogs, etc,etc.

Eventhough there are a few Senators that do just fine without any upgrades, for the most part, you're right basto.
I'm not going to disagree with you, we are talking Penn vs Penn afterall ;).

they do cost alot but well worth it. i think that it would be the last drag washer you would need for that reel. it is costly because it comes with the drive plate.

Here's another vintage 50 parts quest...
a friend of mine dropped off his old International 50 .. ser#H792950   

it has a broken stand... part# 30-50  = Discontinued, not available..

Can we get a little love from some Pennaholics ???
