Happy to be corrected, but I think with the early 90s black/silver/pro max reels the 6600CLW is C= bearings, L = levelwind & W= wide. The 6600 is the only size with a wide version.

Thanks, Fred! I thought about that too, but I also thought it would be redundant the label a 4600 reel as having a level wind when, at least to my knowledge, they never made a conventional reel in that size.
