 i have a shimano stradic 6000 fj does anyone know if the 8000 spool will fit. i think it will  just would like to know  before i spend the money.

If you look at the specifications you can see that the 6k is actually slightly heavier than the 8k. They are the identical body but the 6k spool weighs slightly more.
