Help!? RCS spool scratch

Hi guys!

dropped my RCS 2004 shallow spool just the other day.... theres a scratch at the spool rim! does not feel sharp or rough and i can barely feel it with my fingers! however it bugs me!

will it really damage my line on the cast?

anyway to remove the scratches?

bliddy expensive! cant afford to buy a new one!
