Alutecnos and infinite anti-reverse

I may have the option to buy a virtually new Alutecnos 2-speed 80 for a reasonable sum but I am wondering about whether the anti-reverse system would be up to the strain of heavy-duty 80 and 130lb line for big marlin, tuna and sharks.

My only experience with such things has been with a friend's smaller Penn 9xx or similar and the system failed several times allowing the handle to backwind. A bit of a nuisance on a 5lb cod but such a failing would be catastophic on a marlin of several hundred pounds 

Any thoughts?
