Old tmie automatic fly reel

Picked this up a couple days ago at a garage sale.  Does anyone know how this thing comes apart???  I would like to clean it up for my collection.  The date states, June 1888 to 1891.  I tried to get a good close up of the lettering on the spool.

I guess I am getting too old, cannot figure out how to add pic's.  Have a good evening............Lynn

aren't these spring loaded, like a watch???

As you strip line the spring is 'wound up' - pull the trigger and the line is automatically retrieved.
