So, I decided to upgrade the drags in my Okuma Coronado CD90 & CD65.  These are the baitfeeder models and I purchased them in 2004.  I mainly use them for catching Kingfish and throwing topwater baits to tuna.  I have been really impressed with how these reels have held up considering their price point.

Anyway, I called Dawn and Smooth Drag and found out that they didn't have any washers for these reels.  So, I offered to send her my entire drag stack and she agreed to create a couple of sets for me.  These 2 reels have the exact same drag stack per the schematic.  You can find an online schematic for these reels here:

So, I get the Carbontex Drag washers from Dawn.

Then I remove the oiled felt drag washers and replace with the Carbontex washers.

Here is a look at the oiled felt washers that I removed.  Notice one was very black and in bad condition.

Here is the final pic that I have.

I rubbed a lot of Cal's Reel Grease into the Carbontex Drags and then rubbed off the excess.

So, if you want to upgrade the drag washers on your Okuma Coronado Reels, give dawn a call.

By the way, the Key Number for this Drag Wahser is 610.  The part number is 12610003-000.

I think that this drag washer will fit many different Okuma Reels.

Maybe some others on this board can weigh in.
