Took a ride on the Enterprise out of LongBeach Marina Sportfishing. We went to Catalina Island, just a little north of Twin Harbors. My two main weapons were a Penn Fathom 15 and a Level wind version.  Almost as soon as we got there we were boarded by the DFG, dude checked everyone's licenses and was gone in less than five minutes. Pretty good bite on the rockfish white fish and perch, one dude even caught a huge ling cod. A fun day on the water, beautiful weather couldn't ask for much more cept maybe a yellow tail or whit sea bass...

My sore:
Rockfish Bocaccio 3
White Fish 3
California scorpionfish 2
Rockfish Olive 2
Rockfish Copper 1
Rockfish Vermillion 1

The boat's Score: 22 Anglers
5 Sheephead
73 Whitefish
66 Bocaccio
105 Rockfish
2 Lingcod
5 Sculpin
60 Perch (blacksmith and blue perch)
32 Red Snapper

Almost there!

At the spot!

Blue perch!
I used to call them blue fish and catch them under kelp patties. When I moved to Connecticut, you cn understand my confusion.

Glad you had a good time.
