After fishing a battle 4000 in the Florida Keys last year and now this year for a total of about 60 days of fishing the reel is as good as new.
When I first bought the Battle I questioned the size and construction of this little reel, but now I can say it is a good reel.
With help from guys on this site I do keep all my Penns in good shape.
That's all I can report now.

I dont believe there is a tutorial on the 4000 penn battle, but they are fairly ease to do.
I just took my time and took it apart ,cleaned it and put it back together.
Nice little reel.
Have fun with it. ;D

One thing you will notice the drags are held in with a steel washer with 3 very small screws.
Be gentle with them and gearse then as you replace them. if we are not careful with the small screws
they have used in this reel there will be problems.
If theres anything I dont like about these reels it is the size of some of the screws in them.
All in all very nice.
Sorry i have no better info.
