I'm kinda stoked that my latest technique is working out so well ;D. Using the "see what drifts in at high tide" method I've been able to target Grass Rockfish, (an ocean species, cleaner and better tasting than the fish reside within the SF bay) during the 2 hours before the high tide tops out. On this day I hit one 14" & one 15" that fell for my presentation of lowly market shrimp. (Avet SX, Diawa 10ft Emcast rod)

You've got a tasty treat for dinner. Nice.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

Sweet!  Was that on the east side?

That's south of the Golden Gate Bridge near the Fort.  I've fished there several times but didn't catch anything that big.

Fort Baker?  I have seen some NCKA folks pull some good crabs out of that area.

Those things are grub! One of my favorites in the black rock fish fish and chips family of foods.
