okuma avenger av 65 bail arm issue

Hi all. I took my av 65 apart for a cleaning and now my bail arm will not flip into place. I can open and close it smoothly by hand. The spring and pin dont appear to be broken, i can work both pieces by hand with no issue. It just seems like I cant get the assembly to line up properly with the spring mech. Any input is appreciated
