I haven't personally used them, but this article by Alan Hawk left me not wanting to ever do business with such a company.  It's not that they used Chinese made reels, because they can be good.  It's about the company lying to cover up their origin even when confronted with it.

I was just reading that, too...  he got their allegedly "assembled in New Jersey, USA, from  superior Japanese and American made parts" $300 reel, directly from China for $80
