I have a wicked customized shark bow fishing setup you'd be proud of.  It is a darton compound w/ a reel to retrieve line after a miss, braided spectra which drops to a bullet bout that launches off of the stabilizer once all the line is payed out, the bouy can be clipped to a running rope and bout setup I keep in a 5 gal bucket.  The shafts and tips were custom built.  I'm sure this rig can easily take a monster shark from shore or boat.  I used it for 4 filed seasons in a shark 'research' project.  I'll post sum pics sometime if I can locate them w/o my computer.
