New rod clamp for my cavalla

Big thanks to Tom for sending me an extra rod clamp from the 9/0 frame project.  It's a perfect fit for my okuma cavalla 15II and now I can use a rod leash with it.  The studs for the rod clamp are adjustable, but I didn't even have to adjust the spacing.  The okuma hardware also fit perfect.

I also replaced the spool bearings with new ceramic bearings, since the originals were damaged from running too much drag.  I noticed a while back that the drag plate was warped, and less than half of it was contacting the drag washer.  You can see the shiny ring in the old one on the right.  That was the only contact area, and probably attributed to me damaging the bearings at 25 lbs of drag on a reel that's supposed to do 32 lbs.  so I cut a new drag plate from 316 stainless plate, and wet sanded and polished it up.  Can't wait to fish it now.
