Cool old thread! I remember Jerry Morris, Set me up for my 1st LR trip in the early 80's. Heck of a nice man, I think I drove him nuts with all the time i spent picking his brain but he never showed it. Think I bought my first Newell at his shop.

Very cool! Homage reels are always interesting, nice contrast to going the other way with all modern/tech everything. My old school newell penn builds usually have our goodies inside too.
