Will the stock brass retaining pin fit the upgraded 501 Stainless Steel Gear Sleeves?

The Bait and Tackle shop near my house bought out an older gentleman that isn't fishing anymore. Inside of the box of old Penn reels were a couple of stainless steel gear sleeves. They appear to be for the Jigmaster , however, the stainless steel pins weren't in the box. If they do happen to be for the 501 Jigmaster I was curious if the brass pin would be the same diameter to fit into the hole of the stainless sleeve.
