2 days fishing

got 2 days in this week
1st day was bait ,we caught enough for a good feed,+bait
2nd day.weather perfect.5knot winds,flat seas.about 7 miles off shore

bucket of jigs +squid,wrasse fillets for bait
my gear. Andros,new daiwa p6-8 jig stick,2 jigs I used in the shallow water, (tarted up)no current today

omoto triple +rig we developed  for fishing over the coral,works great,we don't lose any rigs.
2 hooks snelled, sinker right on the top hook, large fillet,16" x 6" is ok.
drop right to the bottom and quickly lift it up a metre.sit it in the rod holder.
spiral wrapped ugly 24 kg,67",50lb braid,fluoro leader.
750ss + 30lb braid,ugly spin stik.
ok so off we go the 3 of us, wazza,ross and myself
and we come across this

1/2 between the lobster boat and us is his cray pots
wazza(skip)we will try here
I drop down using omoto im on
beauty,nice dhu fish, drop again im on again,thats our limit,only allowed 2 per boat.
lets try for some king George whiting.

nice fish,we got 5 just under 1/2 metre +
cod, trevally,oglies,



left at 9am,home by 3pm,every one got a nice feed
