Sea Dweller

I've been inactive on many forums since I sharked in 2011 (lived in Illinois and could never get back to the sea until now).

I've got two old senators that I initially found this place while trying to restore and I can't wait to be a part of the community!

Thanks, Alan and everyone who makes this place cool!

Hi, my name is Lee and I have a fishing gear problem.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

Sea Dweller

Thanks guys!  The first reel is a Penn 16/0 that I bought off a craigslist ad from Guam in 2011.  The second one is a rode hard and put up crummy 16/0 that I just bought for parts... Still learning and I didn't even bother looking too close at it because of the price.  I *think* I came out on top with both overall but I'll be having a new thread up VERY soon with questions and more info on where I'm at and where I'd like to be headed with these old warhorses.

Dominick

Welcome aboard.  That 16/0 is a classic.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Shark Hunter

I only have one 16/0. Several 14/0's. They are the same inside. The 16/0 is just a wide spool version.
