8/5/04 - scott's creek

quick report, i'm beat. weather was ugly today. the wind was up at 8am by the time we made it up to scott's creek. we stuck an easy limit of rockfish and still had a rough ride home, even down hill. lots of short lings. we used my favorite number 4 treble hook and squid heads. we also used the bodies after cutting them up to look like an octupus. it worked great. fantailing the bodies open was a little trick i picked up from my brother lat week. i dragged out a new guy, kevin asano, from the kayak boards. alan
