Just curious what peoples thoughts are of braid on this series of Sealine?  For starters, this will mainly be a bottom fishing reel, fishing waters from 60' to 350'.  Lead used will vary from 4 - 20 oz.   My thoughts are of putting 50lb or 65 lb braid on it and add a topshot only when needed.  The pole I'd like to pair it with is the Ugly Stik Tiger Lite 5'-8" XH.  Target species is Black Sea Bass, Cod, Haddock, Tile Fish and if need the occasional...whatever other fish we may encounter deep dropping :)  In a nutshell I'm trying to put together a fast retrieval  combo for sub $200ish.  It's between this Sealine or a Penn Fathom 40 Star....Any input would be super and much appreciated.  Merry Christmas all.

It can handle braid.  You winding up 20oz of lead from 350' with gears that high on the other hand...

Thanks.  So you think the 6.1:1 is too high?  I was intrigued by the 46" per turn...

Just looked the Penn Squall LD is 5.1:1 with 37" per crank...within $10 of price difference...
