Post Christmas fishing trip to break in some new gear.

Got out on the gulf for the first time since my family relocated from the east side of Florida, left out of Clearwater. Got to take my brother out, being from Colorado he was very excited to get out and catch something other than a rainbow trout. All the new gear I have be collecting the last few months worked perfectly, not that I caught anything that would get them close to their limits. Want to thank Daron (Sharkhunter) for assisting my wife in the purchase of a near mint 114hlw for Christmas, cranked in plenty of fish with it, mostly small sea trout but I am loving the feel of this reel. My brother caught a small ray on my newly broken in Squall 50. We both had a good time and I still have gas left in the boat to get out again soon.

Looks like a beautiful day out there. We have been having a few rainy days and high winds lately.  Glad you guys got out.
