Black Pearls superb 501 bars arrived recently, so with all the other goodies,(Thank you Alan T, Alan C, Sal and Bryan) I was able to finish off my narrowed 500.

Mike that's a gorgeous reel. A little while back I received a 501 and it arrived all mangled, I will be sending you the aluminum spool for that reel on me.
Great job my friend.

Sal
Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

I like the way you have arranged the parts in the bottom pic. You are an artist.

Hi, my name is Lee and I have a fishing gear problem.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

3x as nice! ;)
Mike takes a lot of pride in his reels. We don't realize how good we have it.
They are a lot harder to get across the pond.

Thanks guys, I try my best, it has brought me a lot of pleasure getting into collecting these reels, but like Daron said they are hard to get here.

Since becoming a member here, and the welcome I received, I often think that this forum is a band of brothers, people who have become friends through a common interest, many who have never met.

Thank you all, for who you are.

Mike.

Its my pleasure Mike. You do need to wait until the 24+inches of snow that we're expected to get, melts,so I could  get to the post office. ::)
We need to get one of the guys here make us some narrow spools for the Jigmaster,we are not done with that reel just yet and it is already very hard to beat. ;)
Spools are very hard to come by, I've been hunting one for you for the last two months with no luck, that's why I decided to send you that one that I mentioned above.
Cheers pal.
Sal

Mike, that spool you're showing gave me a great idea, now we have to get someone to make us some aluminum spools in the  same exact shape and color. ;)

Thanks Sal, aluminium spools of the same colour would be stunning, if anyone can make it happen, you can ;D
