Daiwa 910 rockcod special

Alan I have 2 daiwa 910 rockcod specials.. I only use them for my kites , last year while fishing the World Sailfish Championship down here in Key West Fl the winds were blowing near 40 knots and I burned the drag washers up retrieving my kites.....Is there anyway to just lock them down , I dont care if my kites fold in half but I never want to have to bring them in by hand again....If not I guess I need 2 sets of washers,  Thanks Capt Dock

i have the metal washers all cut.  i have to knock off the sharp burrs left from the lazer cutter.  i will probably leave all the edges sharp since they do not affect performance.  when they are done, i will let you guys know.  right now i'm just buried it stuff to do.  alan
