8/7/06 - pescadero with ted

decked for ted deffinger today on his 20 foot grady. stuck an easy limit of rockfish and one legal ling. i also an additional ling, easily 25 pounds, gaffed in the jaw, female, loaded with eggs, hoisted into the box, had second thoughts and threw her immediately back into the water. i don't know, just didn't feel the need to kill today. you should have seen the look on the other guy's face when that fish went splash!

back at the dock talked to two guys that ran for albacore. one had 17 fish, including two bluefin. the other guy had 10 fish. sorry, no other details. i may run on thursday.
