Senator 9/0 spool diamter and width anyone?

I just scored a Senator 9/0, old, but unused from a former dealer here in Norway. About $65 plus shipping. I think that is a good price, if it is unused as he says.

I am a bit curious about the size of the reel. Can anyone tell me the diameter and width of the spool?
I need to get hold of some line to fill it and needs to calculate how much I need to buy.

Yes, I have read that, but these numbers doesn't realy say anything about the diameter of the line used. Modern lines are thinner and more line will be required.
That's why I asked about the vital measurements of the spool. I also want to calculate the retrieve rate.

I'm not sure of the spool width and don't have a 9/0 here I can measure. Be aware there are 4 different spool types with different dimensions over the years (2 more commonly encountered).

The new 9/0s have a 2.5:1 gear ratio and are spec'd at a line retrieval rate of 28"/crank at full spool.

Gen 1 Chromed (Nickle plated) bronze spool inner dia = 0.700"
Gen 2 Chromed Bronze inner spool dia = 0.830"
Gen3 Chromed Bronze (spool w/same lip as alum) = ?
Gen 4 and 5 Anodized Aluminum Inner Spool Dia = ?

All 4 spool types have 3.75" dia "Bell" Outter Spool Diameters

I think they should all have a similar inner spool width, though the gen 2 may be slightly wider.

Theres a 9/0 next to a 4/0. The spool of the 9/0 is about the same size as the whole 4/0.

Nice! This will be a reel to hoist halibutts up from the deep. :-) Well, if they are big enough, they will put up a fight even against this reel.
I was a bit concerned about the retrival rate, but it is about the same as the 4/0H and 6/0H. 28" per turn of the crank.
