Ok I have never opened a reel up until yesterday. So I am still pretty new at this.

If I want to apply Yamaha Grease should I remove the (red grease aka inox) first? Or is it ok for them to mix.

Secondly, id my drags are already coated do I need to remove the grease then put on Cala drag grease? Also How do I apply Cals Drag Grease?

Lastly I've been reading about using TSI301/Corrison x on all the spool bearings? Then drying them out with  Carb Cleaner (what is this?) and Compressed air (will a HAIR DRYER work?) ? Can someone explain how you do this? Do you have to have compressed air? Is it necessary to do this on a preserving? I don't need ultra freespool...

Anything else I need to do?

no problem.  wipe out some of the red inox, then use a toothbrush to spread the rest of it around on the inside of the reel.  no problem mixing the two.  use cal's grease on black carbon fiber drags.  i use an old toothbrush.  use TSI 301, TSI 321 or corrosion x on bearings. the excess will drizzle out on it's own.  stick with it.  you'll get the hang of this soon.
