Do any of the mainstream reel makers use allen head screws in their reels? I already have slotted, phillips, and torx bits in my tool box. Thanks for any info.

Of the ones I own, Alutecnos has regular allens and Quantum Cabo 70/80 has allens but they are also slotted across so you can use a flathead if you want.  Not sure about the smaller Cabos.

avets and early accurates.  the accurates now use number 7 torx head screws for the side plates of their boss reels.

Thanks, all. I guess it's worth adding them to the tool box.
