Judging from my age in the photo this must be  '57 or maybe '58-that's my Uncle Mike standing with a Sturgeon we caught probably in the river behind our house.

Mike loved his old Garcia Mitchell 300 and I'll bet a dollar to a donut that's what he used to catch that Sturgeon with.

I love these old fishing pictures from the 50s.  I have a bunch of my father, grandfather, and great grandfather.  I may be tempted to share a few.  Thanks for sharing this bit of personal history with us.
