Hi folks,

Well my home port of Eaglehawk Neck is turning on an extraordinary season of huge fish and we still have months to go, but this story surely will earn a place in the annals.

Yesterday, close to shore, a 16 year old girl hooked a tuna on 24kg. To cut a long story short, things came to a climax 19.5 hours later. Their own account is here:
