I'm looking for some feedback for a single rod I can use for California Rock fish, Lingcod and Salmon trolling on Party boats. Seems like what I have is ether to heavy or to light. I know some of you guys have a go to rod for this... Lets hear it.

Cool
I would rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6...

Well, trolling for salmon is the decider, imo, as you can use all kinds of light stuff for Rock Fish and Lings but you need a little meat for trolling a 2 1/2lb ball of lead around (the standard party boat deal).

Bargain would be an Ugly Stick Tiger 7' rated 20-50.

I just grab my trusty Calstar Grafighter 700M rated the same. I consider it the best all around stick for SD to Eureka.

Live baiting Tuna, trolling Albacore, Salmon, Halibut, Rockfish...it can do it all 30-40lb leader stuff.

7 foot, rated 10-25 or 15-30.  lots of rods to choose from!
