so we team up again after 2yrs,lures only,no stinky bait,ok,7am start
he has to travel 1 1/2hrs,im 10min;from the boat ramp
we launch  boat and this greets us

i have never seen it so calm
we troll around for to long, searching, where eric caught them the week before
lets go,we head for the opposite side of cockburn sound,BIRDS!
I position the boat,eric fires out a lure,he,s on

changes lures,goes again,hook up, bucket.com/user/wallacewt/media/IMG_2457_zpstpcsanda.jpg.html][/URL]

we are allowed 4 each,so we keep 8,eric eats his, mine are for dhu bait

teaching eric how to drive my boat
top day, perfect condition, stayed like that till we left
fish averaged 5 1/2 kg,some smaller/larger

Wallace, Atlantic and Pacific Salmon are arguably the best eating fish in the seas.  Yet you use it as bait to catch Dhufish.  I'm going to assume Dhufish tastes better than Australian Salmon.  BTW it looks like you had a good day.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Hi Wallace,

We call them Kawhai on this side of the ditch, they're a great fish for smoking and a lot of fun to catch on a fly rod too.

Bleed them straight away, fillets rubbed with sea salt & brown sugar into the hot smoker for 20 minutes, eat while still hot with butter and washed down with a good lager beer.

Hi, my name is Lee and I have a fishing gear problem.

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

Wallace,

Looks like a solid boat, and solid job on the fish.

The fish look like they are related to our blue fish here in the NE US. especially if they taste like crap

The difference might be that the NE Blue fish taste like oily crap.  :o Dominick

Doug & Dominick

They taste like Crap because of their Diet of Oily Fish. Eat the Snappers about 12" you will see the difference.

I have not failed.  I just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
