Had a blast reeling in these bruisers...caught about 10 or so with a Penn 710z that I overhauled and updated.  Definitely a blast, wishing I could have grabbed some tog as well, but next time.

Now that's what I call singin' the blues!  :D

Do you like to eat them?

I don't suffer from insanity... I enjoy every minute of it!  :D

I personally don't eat these big ones but I have friends that do.  I like the smaller ones smoked...awesome fish to catch though, tail dances and aerial acrobatics are great.

Heck yeah,
thats what I'm talking about, nice big Blues.
I'd love some of those for big shark baits.

Wish our Gulf Blues got that big, but that size is uncommon down here.
I caught several the other day, half their size, perfect eating.

Hope springs eternal
for the consumate fishermen.

Terrific.  Hit a school of blues and you can get arm weary.  Nice job.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.
