Passports required?

Thought I'd pass on to you all info I read today on BD saying passports are now required on trips to Mexican waters.

yes, i just got an email from annemarie an hour ago that said the same thing.  everyone has passports except for mike and his passport arrives on june 9th.  annemarie indicated that this will be ok, but i am awaiting confirmation.  i'm glad i asked him to get one.  mike joined us only a couple of weeks ago and rushed out to get a passport.  hey, i'm ok to just be lucky!

Didn't you collect passport info both for this trip and the one last year?
I think this change mostly affects the 3/4 day trips to the Coronado's and maybe the overnight trips.  I always have my passport card in my wallet so I don't worry about it. I take my passport on the longer trips since the number on the card doesn't match the one on the 'real' passport and it needs to match the one on the manifest that the office keeps.

yes, mike is the only one that does not have a passport yet, but he will.  do please bring your passport on the trip, not just the card.
