Weather, tide was perfect and with family life etc
i had planned this trip 2 weeks in advance.

Low water (3 hour morning session) 1 hour before low and 2
hours to the fill (after that tide to strong to hold bottom).

Species thornback ray, sizes on this beach 3-7lb..

Rod used was my 15' penn affinity and felt every movement
of the rays caught, soft tip beautiful rod.

Reel used my 25 year old penn 750ss (fixed with new original peen part silent dog, $1 fix your money).

2 dogs, 3 gurnard and 4 ray and the one that got away,
5 yards from the shore just came off, tide really starts to
pick up speed after the 2 hour fill mark, anyway i didn't care
a very relaxed morning session.

Looks like a wonderful time on the shore.  I love shore fishing.  Very relaxing with benefits of catching.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

Thanks Bryan, seeing the (light tip) rod bend right over then
holding it and feeling the fish is highly recommended.

Lovely few hours, great to be alive to do it.
