You did really good big guy, that reel looks awesome.
Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

Heck of buy for any Newell 533/5.5 - even more so for one that clean.  I had several and fished a number of San Diego long range trips using them primarily for wahoo.  They also caught a good number of yellowtail and a few school tuna.  Great reel - some good advice already to upgrade the drag washers.
