Took delivery of a 49 chrome spool from Aiala today, reached the U.K. in five days!!

Sets the reel off a treat.

Thanks again Aiala.

Mike.

Aiala

Wow, Mike... it's a eyepopper for sure! You are most welcome.

Five days??  :o  Hard to believe, but it's heartening to know that good things still DO occasionally happen... to good people, even. I'm so glad you're pleased.  :D

Enjoy it for a long, long time!  ;)

I don't suffer from insanity... I enjoy every minute of it!  :D

Aiala,

I thank you again, the spool is perfect.

Yes, the five days delivery is quite amazing, it can take a lot longer to get things delivered within the U.K.

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

Very Nice Mike!
Glad to see you mingling with the regulars. ;D
When you are ready for that 14/0, just say the word. ;)
I recently acquired my second 16/0. These are getting hard to find in good shape.
Take care my friend,
Daron

Hi Daron,

I'm still here, just not much been going on collection wise, nothing turning up on this side of the pond that I want.

We will have to talk soon about that 14/0!! a 16/0 would be my dream, never physically seen either.

I imagine postage would be expensive for these large reels.

Mike.

It is our 25th wedding anniversary on the 5th, perhaps I should think about treating myself ;D

Tiddlerbasher

Go on Mike. Treat yourself - you know you deserve it :D

Jerseymic

Tiddlerbasher, I know I deserve it, I have spoilt the good lady a so much for our anniversary, I don't have any money left :(

Anyway, she tells me I am getting away with murder, tomorrow, the day of our anniversary, I am taking part in a charity boat angling competition.

Annually, the professional fishing guys from our port, give up their time and craft free, to take out anglers for charity. It costs each angler £30.00, also, any fish caught, is auctioned for the charity pot. I was fortunate to get a place on one of the boats this year.

I am taking Jan to a restaurant for a meal on Sunday ;)

Mike

Shark Hunter

I'll line them all up this weekend Mike. :D
Congratulations to You and Jan. My 25th is in November. ;)

Congratulations for yours in November buddy, I hope you and your good lady have been as happy as we have been.

The only thing that would have been better, is that Jan could have been into fishing and a Penn reel collector ;D
