Hi all.  I recently had Alan bail me out with some reel trouble and what better way to further my knowledge on reels than to join this site!

Been fishing most of my life since I was little.  Got out of a it during my college years but started up again after and have been going at it strong.  I do 95% of my fishing from the kayak so my reels tend to take a good beating.  Anyhow, hope to learn from everyone here and thanks for letting me be a part of this forum.

Show is a few pics of your gear and kayak when you get a chance.

Are you fishing the kelp beds, or?

The first rule of fishing is to fish where the fish are. The second rule of fishing is to never forget the first rule.

Welcome.  Watch out for Mr. Shark when out in a Kayak.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.
