I moved back to the states in 2000.  Helped set the fads for 5 years and worked R100 for about the same. 

Really miss that area was there for 8 years then 2 in port hedland, good fishing and great mud crabs, crappy for women.

hi higgy  fads are due to go back in this week
kalbarri is great fishing.  couple of years back it rained inland.
the flood waters hit kalbarri 2 weeks later,  the
fishing tournement was call off.  we just had to turn around and go back home
the flies are very friendly there.

I fished all over the west, and I really loved it.  My fav was shark bay, but the trench was just as magic.  Fished the WA open for quite a few years as well.

One of my best eatin places was the overseas noodle house, is it still going?
