This photo has it all:   its a story without words.  the trusty bait cooler has sworn to secrecy!!

Ive been in Oregon visiting and doing some minor medical stuff,  I got bored for a while so thats I flooded you with some pictures and hoped it was not too much too soon!    My boat is in the yard.   Poor me!

That's a great photo Gary, I am amazed at the sized of some of the halibut you bring home. There are a few stories in that photo - are those gate hinges we can see holding the tailgate on your truck?
It can't be too difficult - a lot of people do it.

Dinner, Halibut by the pound. Awesome pics Gary. Show us more.

If the cooler could only speak, the stories it could tell.

Beauty halibut. Reminds me when I was posted to the Queen Charlotte Islands (now Haida Gwai)off the coast of British Columbia in the early '70s. We would fish halibut in Macintyre Bay (sp?). You could see the Aleutians on a clear day. We used to hand line them. I can still see guys in the boat, laying back, half asleep, arm over the side of the boat slowly jigging and all of a sudden their feet are in the air and they're hanging over the side holding on for dear life. Great times and great fishing. Loved it. Have to live on those memories as the cost of halibut is crazy now  :D
You know that moment when your steak is on the grill and you can already feel your mouth watering.
Do vegans feel the same when mowing the lawn?

You are living a great life Gary. Keep it going for as long as you can breath. Many here drool and dream when they see your pictures. ;D

Hey Gary Do not take this post wrong.  I tried to describe your truck and cooler to myself.  The first word to come to mind was disreputable (could work).  The next word that came to mind was eclectic (could work also).  I have settled in my mind the best way to describe them.  The word I settled on is "cool."  I love your truck and the cooler with mojo.  8) Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Your truck and cooler are Rock Stars!  They get all those monster halibut to haul hom for you!
Nothing like them ever been in my truck or cooler!
From now on I'm calling your truck Jimi and your cooler is Hendrix!

Thanks Mr. Hall;  The rocker Jimi Hendrix still is not forgotten and truly a pioneer with new ideas and enthusiasm for presenting his new style of music , but from now on I will try to refer the truck/cooler duo as jimi hendrix!   Thanks too for not tearing me down as I post an occasional fish picture as i, am very sensitive!   Ha Ha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You just keep doing what you are doing Gary. ;)
My Daily Driver is a 1989 Silverado that has all the paint coming off. I just need a cooler to go with it. ;D
Keep those pics coming Buddy!
