The San Francisco Chronicle featured a doctor who live in Marin.  He is an inveterate inventor.  He not only is a gifted surgeon, but he got an idea from fishing reels and invented the Rescue Reel.  http://www.rescuereel.com It is a reel in reverse.  Let's hope if one ever has to use on he sets the drag right.  Dominick

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Just checked it out... it's got a set drag (no kidding:) Hope no one ever needs that thing!

Pretty cool,I would hate to be in a room full of people where I was the only person who had one of these and had to use it.
