Daiwa Sealine x 20sha star clicker issues

Hi there..

I am having trouble assembling the clicker spring part behind the star drag on this certain reel.
Goes together well enough just the click isn't working when winding the star drag up. It did before i pulled it apart to install carbon washers but is now a no go.
Have tried multiple ways to assemble and decided i best ask around.

Anyone can help.. please do assist.

I'm not really familiar with conventional reels that has a star drag clicker spring. I know you said that you tried different ways of installing it, but have you tried flipping it the other way? It may or may not fit though. Also, perhaps try seating it into the star drag itself and then install onto the drive shaft. That's really all I got, and I am guessing you tried that already. If it's not that, then I'm sure it's probably something pretty simple.

It looks like the clicker is supposed to fit over the top lip of the sideplate like a cap.

Sussed it thanks.

Turned out i had to tap the small spacer back into the sleeve on the correct side (2 steel parts in pic). Schematic shows one part.. which is obviously 2.. another feet lol..
