Been putting in some work on the side and saving up. Finally able to add a few tools to the box.

Got a pretty good deal on this with the exchange rate. Reel, PE6 line (full), two lures, 100 meter spool of 100lb floro, some 215lb split rings and a variety of assist hooks for right around $800 USD.

Tried to take a cool pic but the lighting isn't what I hoped for.

Also made a few orders, but I won't spoil the surprise.  ;D

It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

That's one heck of a tool...enjoy it!

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

I've spent 3 hours spooling it up and it's not done... 35lbs of drag off the spooler with a 1200yrd spool of 200lb braid and I think I have about 300-350yrds to go. Took a few breaks, no adrenaline to keep me going, lol.

I'll add another "tool" pic in a few days.

But for now, check out my trophy shelf!  ;D

Oh and one thing I NEVER see mentioned on here.... PROTECT YOUR SPOOLS! wet braid will be the end of your spool if not treated or if you don't strip the line, wash and dry it after every trip.

I fish atleast one day a week, most of the time 2-3 days so drying line isn't an option.

This may be a stupid  question, but what do you do with the T-9? Do you treat the empty spool before putting the line on, or do you somehow treat the spool with the line on it?

Treat the spool prior to putting line on. I just did it right before this pic and you can see the spool is shiny from the coating. It dries in about 2 hours and leaves a waxy film. You can even put it on before taping the spool and the tape will still stick just fine. (I use athletic tape).
