The rut is on in Ga where we are lucky enough to hunt, I shot a doe on a previous hunt and was pig and buck hunting this trip, I got a nice eating pig (sow 60`70 lbs) that filled up a cooler and should eat good. One of my Oldest hunting buddies Barry got a Nice 9 point that I will post a couple of pictures of soon.

Cold weather was a nice treat, it seems more like hunting if it's cold, and the deer move better. I saw some small bucks four points that wouldn't last a day in a Florida management area,  and have pictures of half dozen nice shooters. Still got hunters in camp, so some could be taken before I get back there.

Had seven does and yearlings in my plot one afternoon, just enjoyed watching them from my tower, saw lots of deer just no shooters, fun, now Thanksgiving with the family. Friday is my daughters birthday, then we are going to Gainesville for the big game Sat.

Nice! I don't hunt, but I will eat anything and appreciate the hunters of the world. I will slay fish though  ;D

Well done!

Nice grey coloration on that pelt.  I have never hunted deer outside of the midwest, but that looks like a good deer to me, no matter where you are in the country.  Those wild hogs are tasty too.  Do you have  picture of the sow?

Thanks for sharing!

Here is my first Turkey I got last year, it was so much fun calling them in from 250yards away.

I will look for a picture of the sow. Here she is.

Then turn that into this

and finally into this and this

Italian sausage.  Yum.  Congratulations.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.
